Huge price drop on all projects

Given the pervasive doom and gloom of the economy, as well as the difficulty many potential buyers are having in obtaining mortgages, we have drastically reduced the price of our three modern green homes in Reynoldstown. As has been stated in the past, these homes are some of the most energy efficient in the entire country and certainly Atlanta. In addition to their energy efficiency and TRULY GREEN features, these homes have high grade finishes and fixtures throughout. These homes are now priced below similar modern homes in the area that offer no sustainable green features whatsoever.

The two townhome units at 85 and 89 Weatherby are now both priced at $399,000

Finally some smart people (other than Thom Mayne) having their voices heard through the constant spoon-fed accolades the media gives for LEED certified projects. Goals for a project to be LEED and goals for a project to be green/energy efficient are two different things. People need to realize this.

Wouldn't you like a $4 power bill for February?

The first full month of metered solar and I've got to say...I'm shocked and impressed. We actually made more on our distribution credit than we were charged for the month, but after totaling 4 ridiculous taxes, we actually owed GA Power $4.07.

Really curious to see what happens next month since the days are getting longer now and the sun is getting higher. Just a few more months to the optimum time of year for solar energy production! I feel sure there will be a negative number in the total due next month. We'll keep you posted.
